Jah Massive sound system presents Lion Youth sound system, straight outa Genéve switzerland. Roots & Dub # 5!
Lion Youth sound system is now a 11 year old sound system created by Ras Drix and Jah T. They have build their own boxes to spread Jah message of rightousness ina king david style.
They have well etablished them selfs ina Geneva as the leader of roots and culture music from rockers to dub 3000.In 2007 Jo Red joined the crew as operator and equippment builder. He redesigned the sound system to new standards.
Lion Youth did play in other countries such as France, Germany,Italy, Spain and was blessed to play at Garance reggae Festival in France and at the Rototom Dub Station in Spain in 2011.
Lion Youth crew today: Jah T (selector & mc), Jo Red (operator & builder) Axeman (riddim maker) and Don Ton (logistics and promotion)
Lion Youth is one of the very few that is playing with a 100% homemade sound system. From the box design & construction throug preamp & power amps and some crucial selection all is made by Jah T,Jo Red and Axeman providing a unique sound system experience.
